Foreclosure Rates Sore biggest jump in 5 years

April 15, 2010

I turn on the news this morning and what do I see on the banner on 2 news channels – “Foreclosure Rates Sore in March – Biggest Jump in 5 years.”    Do you think those yahoos in Washington read the same banner?  I wonder how they will spin this.  I’ll just bet  Mr Geithner will continue to state – that homeowner are in fact being helped.

A few days ago I posted that 170,000 homeowners had been helped via the HAMP program – today on those same news channels on the same banner – reported today 228,000 have been helped.  Now what happen?  Are those news channels wrong?  What is the true figure?  What are they NOT reporting that they still have millions of homeowners that have been ignored. If only the banks would communicate and do the right thing.

Why is this just some space on the banner?  Why are they NOT (the media) reporting the full story?  At what point, what is the biggest rate that foreclosures have to hit before it becomes news worthy?

Update on my own fight with First Horizon – The executive response team –  is not responding. I was to hear from them on Monday April 12, 2010 – I still have not heard back April 15, 2010.

Hmm… systemic problem here – I think.  If those at the top do not communicate …   Once again, I have kept the line of communication open – I sent 2 faxes with the copied of my missing treasurer’s check – proof of mailing and “the executive response team”  did not bother to acknowledge receipt or call back when the said they would.
